Recently, the CEO of Korea’s SEED and a delegation visited the R&D and demonstration base of MEINONG Agricultural Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (MEINONG ROBOT).
About the guest: SEED is a Korean smart-farming company operating large-scale glass greenhouses under its “SEED to Harvest” vision. It combines AI·IoT environmental control, digital-twin crop monitoring, and automated cultivation with logistics and data-driven operations for sustainable, high-productivity protected agriculture. The visit focused on robotic grape harvesting in greenhouses, aligned with SEED’s facility-growing strategy.
Inside the grape greenhouse trials, guests watched the grape picking robot perform mobile operation, perception, and picking under trellis cultivation, and discussed engineering details such as chassis layout, cycle time, fruit damage control, and bin handling. Both sides held an in-depth discussion on picking robot solutions for greenhouse production, covering path planning in tunnels and multi-span houses, working space for hanging clusters, fit with existing training systems, and next steps for pilots and productization.

MEINONG ROBOT welcomes international partners for joint validation and continues advancing field-ready intelligent harvesting for grapes and other crops.
